I painted my nails inspired by my earrings' pattern.
I spent A LOT of time making them and only wore them for one day , because the nail polish fell off the edges
But I don't regret it...

well... it took longer to paint the nails than to make the photo...
First, I used the hot pink nailpolish;
Socondly, I apllied stripes of scotch tape on them (i cut those with big scissors so they would be perfectly straight);
Thirdly, I used the black nailpolish all over them
In the end, I removed the stripes of scotch tape and underneath them was pink
Then, Photoshop :
Image-> Adjustments-> Desaturate (Ctrl+Shift+U)
Then, using the History Brush Tool (Y), I went over the earring and the nails, to give them their original colour
Using the Rectangular Maquee Tool (M), I selected the whole picture, right-clicked on it and selected Skew ( 4px of pink ) -> for the border
by the way: it's Stroke, not Skew (I made a mistake)
And also, instead of selecting the whole picture with the rectangular marquee tool, you can just click Ctrl+A

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
